Gmail address doesn't recognize, and cannot create new account with that email address.

Hello, My husband have a gmail account and he just created a profile here.
And He try to log in with his gmail address, it doesnt recognize it. Also, if he try to create new account using this same gmail address, it says it is already in use.
He cannot log in so cannot ask about this problem.
Can you help hem ?
