It is a minor problem but like I have said - it is still a problem. we ended up with variable less in detecting job that a re connects worthy. I have more issues with laziness of the CS to guide fresh clients how to set up payments and similar. I am much more worried about how unprotected I am here regarding my invested time and effort than the seriously minor problem like screening competition.

PS:

Stephen,

I won't go all SJW on you, but can you explain how you connect lameness with wearing a dress?  Because I don't see a connection. Exibit A

Jan,

Did i say "Dress." That darn spell check. I meant "Frock."

But personally I'd prefer Bowie in a Dress. Bowie is timeless.

Surprised you like Iggy over "The Hoff." He dosent wear a dress but he one heck of a lifeguard.

Well - **Edited for Community Guidelines** everything!

I liked to see who had bid  because I could judge real competition against  across-the-board generic bids.

To begin with, I was vehemently against this move. But in fact, I see that we do not need it. I occasionally bid on jobs that I find interesting. I win or I lose - simple and stress free . . .

Also, I can see that this decision has probably prevented a lot of copying of freelancer profiles.

Why would you get edited for the word Frock?

99% of the people who post in here have to Google it.

I guess clever is frowned upon in this community.

Man Sad

Smiley Happy Lol! I wondered when/if that would be zapped!  Interesting that the way in which one word (which means a dress - as in female apparel) is placed, should immediately conjure up another (which generally implies a state of undress) in the minds of the mods - naughty, naughty mods!

**Edited for Community Guidelines** the competition! ♥

Stephen,

Don't mention Bowie name in vain and I think you are the one that needs Hoff, Pam & Carmen cause you kinda insulted all the people in Suffragette City.

On the contrary Jan.

I love Bowie and his music.

Just Bowie in a dress ia more appealing than Iggy. Iggy has to many muscles.

Suffragette City? Dont confuse Bowie with John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, U2 and other politcal musicians.

All music artists have a word or sentence that strikes a cord in all of us. Suffragette City is not "Imagine" by John Lennon.

I heard Hoff was huge in Europe. I would go to see him in a heartbeat.

Never had the opportunity where i live. Big Fan!

You have a great day Jan!

Oh Stephen

look here: Suffragette

and regarding Hoff's music - I can only say iconic sentence from one American show that makes garments, dresses and frocks: "I am concerned about your taste level".

As I see it, your focus on competition is a distraction and this Upwork feature actually helps you to focus on self.
