I can't find any part of my profile to start getting a verification on my profile here at upwork. Tried to google, ask the automated support for a link and it's only bringing me to the home page of upwork. No, that's not how this works. You don't initiate this. Just do it when Upwork asks you to. Until then, don't worry about it.

here I am new on upwork , but I have market experience for more than 15 years it's my owner to work with upwork. I have seen everywhere in my profile but can't see that name.

With due to respect ,This is regret to inform you that while buying connect through my debit card its suddently ask me for ID verificaton which is provided on time but they algorithium or robot still stuck not verifiy i dont know why upwork do this verfication through roboat or AI upwork need to verify manually however let come to the point i have amount in my debit card but unfortunately its not charge and ask for verfication document which i provided after this the notification pop up comes it say it may take time review manually its really good deccision i appreciate this but it make stuck while due working on upwork because here every second is crucial for new commer so i would like to make extremely request to upwork do this as soon as i will b glad to do work with upwork because upwork is top patform for freelancer who can earn as much as they can b their skills .

It looks like you were asked to verify your identity and you have successfully done so. At times we require our users to verify their identity in order to access or continue to access the Upwork marketplace. We do this because it is a critical part of maintaining a trusted online global workplace and keeping Upwork safe and fraud-free.
This is, however, different from the ID verification badge that your account is not eligible for yet. You will receive a notification once your account is eligible.

So, in NJ, only 10 characters are used for your first name. Since mine is "Chistopher", my license has "Christoph". So "Christoph" is what I ended up getting for a name when I took a photo of my license for upwork. Fast forward to updating my payment info....I can't. The banking details / card details has "Christopher", which is correct and this doesn't match with "Christoph" in the Upwork profile. I submitted a help request to have the name manually updated to "Christopher". It shows as the correct "Christopher" now, however Upwork is once again asking me to verify my ID. Ugh, so so frustrating....

Actually I have migrated to my new work place, therefore I opened a new bank account with my new residing address. So how can I proof that information match with my bank account ? I have Government Issue National ID card that holds my updated address too.

I do need please with this, I wen through a process of verification before, showed my passport, made the video call and I gained my identity batch, but I sign into my new iPad and then I have a warning that some feature may be off for now until I verify my identity...I don't understand, does anybody know why is this happening? It causes me some anxiety, please if anybody knows what to do...let me know, thank you so much.

I checked your account and can see that you are being requested to complete a Government ID verification. Please know that on Upwork, you may periodically requested to verify your account as part of our efforts to make sure that the marketplace is safe for all users of the website. This is also noted in the Upwork User Agreement, Section 1.6 Identity and Location Verification where it says that -
"When you register for an Account and from time to time thereafter, your Account will be subject to verification, including, but not limited to, validation against third-party databases or the verification of one or more official government or legal documents that confirm your identity, your location, and your ability to act on behalf of your business on Upwork... When requested, you must timely provide us with complete information about yourself and your business, which includes, but is not limited to, providing official government or legal documents."

Hi Respected Members of Upwork!
I have already verified and confirmed my account by submitting a ID and also Via video verification. But unfortunately when I attempt to submit a proposal I am prompted to provide the information all over again. I had communicated with 3 of your support agents who genuinely wanted to help but transfered me from one department to another saying I was with the wrong support group. The last person I spoke with wasn't able to provide me with an answer and asked me to send an email through which I have done and not received any response at all. This honestly is very inconvenient as I have never had any problems with this before and now I am unable to submit proposals for prospects. Your speedy assistance would be much appreciated and wish you all the best!

You should be able to submit any government-issued ID that meets the criteria listed here. If you do not have any valid ID that meets the requirements, I would recommend that you reply to your support ticket and let the team know about your concern so that they can assist you further.

i wanted to buy connects through my husband credit card and when i put it on upwork i had a problem that you needed to confirm my ID and when i tried to upload my passport photo my husband's name was forced to be my name ,.. so i uploaded the photo anyway ,.. kindly help! .. thanks
