Milestones Question

Hi! 

I'm new to this page and I am kind of confused about the milestones. I am aware what milestones are and that you ca divide the work into several smaller parts. But as far as I've seen there are people - and it's not just a few - who either give very little information or they want a huge amount of drawings (for example 50 characters). If I do fixed price, that would mean that I do all 50 and after all of that get my payment (which is kind of ridiculous). But if I click milestone.. I would have to add 50 (!) seperate milestones??? 

What do click or type in a situation like that?

No, you could propose milestones of 10 each, or 5, or 24 or whatever you like. That's the idea of being able to propose milestones.
