No payment


I should receive two paymnets since 20th december but they're not even in my transaction history (which i could always see as pending) and my balance is still at 0.00$.

I've worked with this company for over a year now and I trust them, I made sure those payments were actually sent and my info is correct, but somehow they didn't go through. 

I tried messaging customer suppurt three times already but no answer.

This is rather urgent, can someone tell me what could be the problem?

How were those payments made?

Can you see any sign of them on your "Reports > Overview" page?

I've asked my friend who also works on UpWork, but for a different company. She has the same issue. Is it something wrong with platform?

So, in other words, you don't know.

If payment was successfully made, you would see it in Reports > Pending  for 5 days (with the date when it becomes available showing in the left-hand column), then in Reports > Available

Can you see any sign of the money on your "Reports > Overview" page?

I do see it but its a different amount, for a job I've done before that I haven't submitted yet from the begging of december. She showed me screenshots that it's sent to me and we've never had this issue, and they're not in pending. That's the issue, any new payments are not going through. I've also done a job for someone else in that time for a different company and that payment is also not in my transaction history, even as pending, so it's not a company thing.

Unlikely. It is far more likely that the client failed to pay. I there was any widespread issue with payments we'd have heard about it long ago.


Please DO go and look at your Reports > Pending page.


Do you see the payments there?

If yes:

1) Is there a date in the left-hand column?

2) or does it say "pending" in the left-hand column?


If it is 1) - that is the date the funds clear

if it is 2) then the client hasn't actually paid (their payment method failed)


If no:

The client hasn't made any payment
