So me and another freelancer have recently be working togther (he is my client) and have since thought about working togther on projects as he is a developer and I'm an infrastruture engineer.

We have been thinking about creating an agency so we can work under the same umbrella.

Would this be a good option?

What are the pros and cons?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Been talking to another freelancer too. Since you guys know each other and your work, it's probably not a bad idea if you have two skills that can work together. Just got to discuss the unpleasant things like money, taxes, how you guys gonna do bidding and work, etc.

Oliver,

Before you make your decision about creating an agency, I suggest you check this help article and resources linked to it to find out more about how agencies work on Upwork.

I don't want to appear rude but, but lets assume I already had the brains to read the knowledgebase before posting asking for peoples opinions and experiences.

Are you both sole traders? If yes, I'd go for the agency option. Register it as a Ltd company. Reduced taxes man.
