Phone Country for my Friend

Hello, could you please tell me if my friend currently lives in Russia, but plans to move to Georgia in the near future. Can he register for UpWork with a Russian number if she cannot get a Georgian one by then? She did not have an account before. Thank you in advance for your answer.

There currently isn't any restriction regarding the phone number being used on an account. You can rest assured the relevant team would reach out to your friend directly in case they find any issues once he registers.
