I have completed several jobs last year: in all cases I got 5 stars but one that I only got 4. This year I have completed 2 jobs (this quarter) and after completing last contract I was hired again by the same person and everything is OK so far. However, I find some issues in my profile:
1. Clients that recommend me: 80%. I do not know where that figure comes from. I have had 10 contracts plus the current ongoing. All are 5 stars but 1 one (four stars)
2. I see all comments in my profile but one - recent (my last ended contract): Why is not shown? Because I was hired again? I can see the comment but it is not shown in my profile
Thank you very much for any help that you may provide

Hello Lino,
At the end of every contract, your clients will leave you a private and a public feedback. Under the private feedback, there is a question asking your client if they'll recommend you to other clients. Maybe, they forgot to answer that part or not. Regarding your contracts displayed on your profile, I checked your account and I was able to see all your contracts in your profile. Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies? Or tried using a different browser? If you still can't see your contract, please reply to this thread. Thank you!

Ryan, I don't believe it's possible for a client to end a contract without answering this question. I guess you may be referring to a case where the OP ended the contract themselves, but based on their post it doesn't seem like this has happened (as they mentioned the star rating for all their contracts).

Hello Jennifer,
Yes, it is possible. Some clients forgot to leave a private or public feedback. There's also a post here in Community asking if he can add a recommendation to his freelancer after he left a feedback because he forgot to answer that part (which is not possible because you can't edit a private feedback. Only public feedback can be edited).

Ryan, I have just tested this myself and it is impossible for me to submit the "End Contract" form without doing all three of these steps:
1) Choosing a reason for ending the contract
2) Answering the "How likely are you to recommend this freelancer to a friend or a colleague?" 1-10 scale question (which is the "private feedback")
3) Providing a star rating in every category in the "Feedback to Freelancer" section
The only optional part of this page is the written "Share your experience..." bit.
A client cannot end a contract and provide a freelancer with a star rating without also answering the private feedback question.
So a client could have forgot to leave a "recommendation" (i.e. a written review), sure, but a client who has given a freelancer a star rating cannot have NOT answered the private feedback question.
Of course, if the client doesn't end the contract, they're not presented with this form at all, and can "forget" to give any feedback at all. I guess it's possible that, if it is the *freelancer* who ends the contract and the client is then leaving feedback after the contract has ended, this form is different and some sections are then optional - but this seems unlikely, and I've never had that happen myself so I don't know for sure.

Brian (et all)
Thanks a lot for all the explanations from everyone.
Yes, now my contract, the one that was missing, is shown. That was my last ended contract and now I keep working for the same people under a different scheme.
I have completed 10 jobs and still do not have a Job Sucess Score: I will wait, anyway, I suppose will come soon. I was a bit dissapointed by reading the comments about my work thay only 80% recommended me - (I had nine 5 stars and one 4 stars).
Anyway, thanks a lot again to you Ryan and to everyone
Lino

Lino, you should also know that the private feedback question regarding recommending you isn't a yes/no question, but a scale of 1-10. So, 80% in that field doesn't mean that 2 of your 10 clients said no...it may just be that some gave mid-level responses, like a 7 out of 10, to that question.

Hi all,
I'd like to confirm the information Jennifer shared is correct and clients can't skip or opt-out from leaving their private and public feedback if they are the ones who are ending the contract.
