Refund if project is not successfull

Hello experts,

There is a project we are unsure whether that technique would work for him or not, and the client wants to start a contract; if we can achieve the results, he will pay. Otherwise, I would refund.

I am not sure if canceling the contract would negatively affect my profile.

It wouldn't affect anything provided the client doesn't leave poor (private) feedback.
