Releasing Milestone when Upwork converted to Project funding

Hi.

I am stuck, I hired someone for a project and they gave their milestones. I was happy with that so I funded the entire amount for the project at once. It now will only let me release the entire payment but I want to only release for one milestone, how do I do that?

Hi Tristan,

You can set milestones for the freelancer to complete and release payment for that milestone. If you need additional work, you can another milestone. To learn more about setting up milestones, please check out this page. 

If you want to only release a partial amount, you have the option to do so by following these steps:

1. Select the contract from Jobs › My Jobs and choose Review & Pay
2. Choose Pay Now
3. Choose the pencil icon
4. Enter the amount to be released
5. Choose Send Payment
