I have sent him message asking for the reasons for declining, but wonder what? no answer!
I have an historic with all the messages between us and the excel file for tasks, can this help?
Thank you for your time.
Do you understand how the escrow works? You aren't supposed to do any work until the client funds the contract escrow. When you see that they've put money into the contract, then you can go ahead and do the work. If you did the work for them before the funded the contract, then you're at fault because you're not obliged to do any work until the client has funded the contract. I hope this has clarified things for you.
Don't worry so much about this!
Lots of new contractors make this kind of mistake.
Learn from your mistake, take your lumps, and move on.
Don't try to get any payment for that job. Two points:
a) You will never receive any money for that job. It is a waste of your time to try. Your task now is to learn what went wrong and how to do things correctly next time.
b) The lesson you learned from this experience is more valuable than the money you would have earned.
