Freelancers, please be careful and don't bid on scam posts like the attached. There are many similar "jobs" like this posted every day and Upwork does not control them, since if freelancers bid on them, Upwork gets money from the connects used. Do you really think someone is going to pay $1700 for retyping a screenshot document? No, they are not.

Is it really our job as freelancers to watch for scammers? Freelancers are carefully vetted, but those posting jobs aren't. This site would be much more credible if Upwork vetted those posting jobs and moderating job postings rather than relying on freelancers to flag scam jobs.

Freelancers are carefully vetted? I think you're in the wrong room. If you can type your name (or have someone do it for you) you can open an Upwork account.

It is best to flag the job as scam by freelancer when they find any. I think there will be 2 advantages for the same, one they will be removed and second as you will get less of them on your feed due to your preference marked..
