Hi. I'm making an app for my client on the Upwork (contract already started). And I'm writing design guidelines for illustrators, there might be some questions that my client won't be able to answer. Is it ok if I leave my email address in the document with design guidelines so that illustrators can contact me directly if they have any questions?

Yes, that is fine.

Once you have an official contract with a client, Upwork has no limits on how you communicate with the client and their team.

You are welcome to provide your contact information to the client, or record your contact information in documents that you create for the client.
