Slow Finding New Clients on UpWork

Hi, I'm finding I'm not receiving any invites to projects in well over a month it seems. I did have a lapse in looking for work on UpWork for a while, due to being kept very busy by other clients both on and off UpWork. But now I'm looking again for new work, but not having much success. What am I doing wrong?  Does it just take a while if you haven't been as active on UpWork as you had been?

I would assume the search algorithm doesn't want to advertise dormant profiles as these are less likely to lead to a contract. Perhaps try sending proposals or any other activity to show that you are active. No one knows exactly how the algorithm works, but its just an educated guess. Plus the algorithm runs on a rotational basis and some times can be slower than others.

Same Case with me. I have also stopped getting response from clients altogether, although my profile is top rated.
