Suggestion to changes on Fixed price contract.
Based on my experience with follwoing two fixed-price contracts :-
(1) Contract ID **Edited for Community Guidelines**- 2 Aug - 15 Aug
(2) Contract ID **Edited for Community Guidelines**- In progress since 04 Sept
Clients will communicate, provide feedback on Upwork regularly / daily on the work progess . However, will be unresponsive on invoice raised after work completion or milestone completion.
Hence, Upwork Help Center's 14 days timeframe to release funds is exhorbitant or high. Suggestion for implementation, "Hold Escrow amount for only a week (7 days inclusive of Sat & Sun) and this is inclusive of Upwork credit period".
This suggestion applies to unruly clients who disapper from Upwork after provding regular/daily feedback on work progress.
