Unverifieds and constant removal of posts

How on earth does anyone get jobs here?? I've applied to dozens of proofing and editing jobs. Numerous job postings have been removed as they were apparently scams. 8 out of 10 are unverified listings. Super discouraging and it sucks to be honest.
