Upwork API Disabled even though it has never been use

I have requested an API Key from Upwork to seamlessly manage job postings, proposals, and other things that freelancers will need.

The popup box has shown me the key and secret, but it also displays the status as disabled. This key hasn't been used since it was issued.

How can I get my key enabled?
