Upwork Talent Specialists

Hello Upwork Community,

I continue to receive the invitations from the  Upwork Talent Specialists, who's main duty (if I'm not mistaken) is to help the clients to find the right candidate/contractor for the particular project.  When I  get the invitations directly from clients, everything is ok. Though  Upwork Talent Specialists seem often to not even read the project description, inviting me to the projects, that are totally different from the skills I have in my profile and the projects I commonly take.

I suppose this could be a real problem for Upwork, as such situations mislead the clients instead of helping them (especially taking into consideration the fact, that they pay for such service).

As a freelancer I would also prefer receiving the right invitations to take the projects which I   specialize in.

Just wanted to pay your attention to such a situation.

This has been an ongoing problem with the Upwork talent specialists. There are several threads about it. Some of us just opt-out of receiving those notifications. I am much happier looking for my own clients than dealing with the irrelevant things the "talent" specialists send.
