My client opens a dispute after closing the contract. Upwork mediation assistant asks to submit dues for the third party arbitration. But now I and my client reach a mutual agreement and the client already send an email for closing the dispute. can we still need to submit $291 because today is the last day or we need to wait because we not hear back from the mediation assistant?
Please guide me about this matter I have a really short time now.

Hi Alejandro,
Our team will review the email your client sent and will update you directly via a ticket you have with our mediation team.
Thank you for your patience!

Alejandro:
The answer is "no."
If you and the client have come to a mutual agreement and you don't want to go to arbitration, then you do NOT need to submit $291 to pay for arbitration.

Wrong. Again.
At this stage, if the freelancer does not pay the arbitration fee, the funds in escrow will be awarded to the client.
