Urgent: Issue with Receiving My Payment

 

Hello everyone, how are you?

I am reaching out for your assistance today because I am brand new to Upwork. I completed a job, which involved recording audio, and submitted the audio files to the employer on Friday, December 1st. When I asked him this morning if my task had been approved, he responded affirmatively. I then inquired about when I would be paid, and he subsequently asked if we had a contract. After that, he told me that I needed to log hours to receive payment. I had no idea that I needed to do that, so I finally downloaded the Upwork app. Now, how can I justify the hours I worked and ultimately get paid?
