What is worst impact on JSS? "idle contracts" or "no feedback given"?
Currently i have 2 idle contracts out 5 contracts (40% idle contracts), i am messaging clients to end contracts and rehire again me when they need other work, but no respond from them both.
So i am intend to end contracts myself before next week "before next JSS update", but clients may don't leave a feedback.
What should i do?!!
Thanks a lot.

If you are paid for a project, then that project went idle, its has little to none effect on your JSS. So don't worry, I have over 10 idle contracts, and my JSS is still 100%

same here dont know what the issue is but most of the clients simply disappear & never bother to respond ..so i had to close number of contracts since never got any replies from them..
i dont think it effects jss..

Neither in your case. As long as money has been paid under those contracts and you don't have a significant percentage of such contracts (2 out of 17 is NOT 40%!) they don't hurt your JSS whether they are open and idle or closed without feedback.

But last JSS update my JSS down from 95% to 92%, and i can't find other reason for this drop.

When did you get that 4.85?
And have you looked at your private feedback? (The Clients who would recommend"percentage on your My Stats page....)
Also don't forget that contracts also fall out of your calculation window, so that can affect things too.

You are right percentage was 88% and it 73% now.
but how client gives me 4.85 and low recommendation as well? !!!

Clients hate being harassed and bothered when they give lower feedback. So they give higher public than private feedback because they fear repercussions from freelancers if they don't give great public feedback.
They're more honest when it comes to private feedback.
73% private JSS means it's not the first or only client who wasn't all that happy. You need to change something. Take a long hard look at the way your contracts went and identify areas that could be improved.

but i have provided good work according to messages, testing work live on client's website, score that i get (4.85 stars).
It was an idle contract since May 2018, so have i asked client to end the contract in case of she won't need any work this period.
i see that is the only reason that made my client so bothered to give bad private feedback.

If that's true, then that's great. How long have those idle contracts been idle?

My experience shows idle projects does affect JSS. I had 2 idle projects out of 3 open projects and i lost 12% (went from 100% to 88%) in the last scoring.
