You can't submit a proposal because your account is suspended.

Some users are getting an error message when trying to submit a proposal that their account is suspended. This may also affect your My Stats page.

 

Error message: 

Sorry, we were unable to save your application.
You can't submit a proposal because your account is suspended.

Hey experiencing the same thing. I sent an email but the support says its not suspended though when I try applying it says suspended.

Hello! I recently just found out that my account was suspended since I am unable to submit a proposal. I have not received any email or notification here on the app. I have been inactive here on Upwork for months and only got active again after finishing a job for a client.

 

I submitted an appeal and it says here "

We see you submitted a request to appeal an Upwork account suspension.

However, the account you submitted it for either doesn’t exist or is still active (not suspended)."

 

I have checked both phone and desktop. The usual action buttons are also not gray. 

Can anyone help me resolve this?

Hello, I have the same issue here. I just created my account earlier today. I've finished setting up my profile and then when I submit a proposals. It gave me this error message.

I haven't logged in to Upwork in a few years. I just updated my profile but when I wanted to send my first proposal it says my account was suspended. I can't find any email from Upwork regarding my suspension. what can I do?

I can't submit a proposal because I was suspended and I have no idea why. I didn't receive any email notification about it. It just happened today when I was submitting a proposal. I already checked and verified my profile details, but I didn't see any missing information.

Same here. I just created my account and finished setting up my profile and that is the same error message I am getting when I submit a proposal. Hope they can fix this asap.
