Criselle, in your profile page, click the Profile Settings button, then look at Profile Completeness. Is it 100%? If not, you need to get it to 100%. If it is, click on Membership & Connects then look at Available Connects.  If it shows a  number larger than 0, I'm pretty sure your profile is approved.

Hi John, thank you for replying. I have 44 connects at the moment but my profile is 90% complete. Would it be tagged as an approved profile?

Criselle, you've been approved because you wouldn't have connects otherwise, but it would still be advisable to get the profile completeness to 100%. Take 1 or 2 tests, and create a portfolio if possible, and that should do it.
