Closing an account



I had an account about a year ago which used an email from my old website. I can no longer log into that account or email address to reset my password. I decided to create another account. The bummer is that I can not use my only phone number to confirm my new upwork account because it is linked to my old account and an email I can't even login into. What can I do to reset my old account or progress with this new account?

Hi Bryan, 


Please know that users are not allowed to have more than one account on Upwork. I was able to locate your old account, and I would recommend that we recover your login information on your old account, so that you can gain access to it. Once you have access to your old account, you will need to close this account. 


I'll ask the Customer Support Team to assist you in recovering your old account by emailing you through the email address associated with your new account.
