Getting paid for fixed contract.

Hi,

I started working for a fixed contract which was for $55, breaked into milestones. I comleted the milestones but the client said he want to do more work and he didn't want to create new contracts so he will just the extra payment as bonus. And he also didnt paid the last milestone as it will end the contract so he just paid it as bonus. Currently I am seeing the he has paid me $104 by 21st June but in my balance I am only seeing $63. I understand that upwork charges 20%.

I can't understand why its hapening. Is it because he has not ended the contract. Please let me know the solution to fix this.

Thanks!

Hi Vivek,

Thanks for this question. Looks like your client issue a bonus payment for you.  These funds have been currently subjected to a standard five-day security period and will become available for withdrawal as shown under the date details in your Transaction History. In order to check the status of your payment, please go to your account > select the Reports tab > Overview and you’ll see the funds under the Pending tab
