How to Get approved my Company account on Upwork

Respected Members, 

Actually,  in Past, I have created a profile on Upwork with a personal name and now I want to change it as a Company name and My Agency is Registered in India Under " Sole Propertitership" with GST Number.

Now I want to get approval for my Profile with my Company name and Would like to get some projects. My Company is legal and I am also a real and genuine person. 

Please let me know the process to get approved by Upwork Team.

Hi Pritam,

You can be a client and a freelancer using the same account.  To create Client account on your existing account, please go to your account settings and select My Teams tab on the left. Once you do, please select Create New Account button and you should be able to add a client account to your existing account. You'll then be able to easily switch between the two accounts under the same login and hire freelancers. Check out this help article for more information.

Please check out this thread and this helpful resources to give you an idea on how to get started. Please choose the closest category in posting the project you wish to post. Define your project with details like goals, deliverables, deadlines, and budget so freelancers can submit competitive proposals. You can also search for qualified freelancers and invite them to submit proposals.

 Your profile has to be in your own, legal name. You can then (if your profile is approved) create an agency in your business name under your freelancer profile. You can not create a standalone account that is not in your own, legal name which must be the exact name that shows on yourgovernemnt ID so you can be verified.
