How to get my 1st job

Hi all,

I'm using this service since last October and I pay a monthly rate for this. I'm will cancel my subscription because I do all I can to get my 1st job.... and nothing.....happens

Are other freelancers in the same situation as me?

Hi Marie,

There are thousands of freelancers on the platform who haven't earned a dime.  Many come here looking for advice.  I can tell you from your profile that there are translating jobs posted daily.  However, I don't know how many are English --> French and vice versa.  My guess is not many.  When it comes to copywriting, there are thousands of us with years of experience and are native English writers so you're in a competitive field.  

Suggestions:

* Consider expanding your services 

* Look on other freelancer sites for work

* Keep trying and establish contacts on and off the platform

Yes, a majority of "freelancers" on this platform are in the same boat.
