Can I make two clients account on upwork with different names and billing methods?

Hello, 

I'm a freelancer on Upwork, and I also have a client account. I'm attempting to hire another freelancer using my client account, but I'm encountering an error message that says "we can't process payment using your payment method." I've talked to my bank, and they told me there's no problem on their side. I'm able to receive money through this payment method, so I'm unsure why Upwork can't use it for payments.

Is it possible for me to make a new client account using my father's name and use his credit card details (with his permission) for the payment method?

You cannot. Second profile not allowed.

But your father can create own profile with own payment method. 🙂

I would reach out to upwork support about why you cant use your payment method on your existing account. You can have 2 client accounts but only if they are seperate legal entities eg different limited companies.
