Contract Changes

I have 2 new contracts which only after sending to the freelancers have I realised they are incorrect.

1st) Should be fixed for an agreed amount & date of completion.

2nd) Should have a delivery date 14 days from agreed terms (yesterday)

What should I do to amend the contracts correctly.

Correct way is cancel contract then create correct one.

Easy way is clarification with Upwork messages. This is unsafe: freelancer able to ignore additional agreement.

You can't necessarily amend or edit contracts. Close the current contract. Create a new contract.
