How to make partial payment for a single milestone

I would like to make a partial payment for a single milestone - there doesn't seem to be a way to do that without releasing the entire payment

It really DOES look like you will be releasing the entire payment.

The wording for the button is kind of confusing.

But you just need to push forward with that button, and then you really will be presented with the option to EDIT the payment. You can edit to be MORE. You can edit it to be LESS. You can edit it to be ZERO.
