Possible to bring freelancer on-site?

I'd like to hire a freelancer. But I would like them to be part of physical team, rather than floating person around the internet.

It makes it also easier to control what secret data gets out, rather than risking an NDA and leakage of all very important data.

So my question is, is it possible to hire a freelancer to our location?

Why don't you just hire a local person then? You know, someone in your locality and pay them directly?

I'm with Petra on this one.

It would probably be a lot cheaper and less of a hassle to hire a local worker by advertising the job through "regular" (i.e. non-freelance work) job boards.

However, it's up to you, as there's nothing stopping you hiring someone on a freelance basis and having them work on-site, rather than remotely.

Hi no n,

No, on-location jobs are not allowed on Upwork.
