Mute Message Channels

Upwork: would you consider adding the ability to mute a conversation/client in messages? I know it's possible to hide messages, but that doesn't mute notifications and it's not always practical (sometimes you're working through something in messages).

It's quite a handy feature in Slack that helps to avoid being distracted by incoming messages, so it would be a great feature in messages if possible...
