If I get the opportunity to not drive myself on a long trip with people that I know, or am on a bus/shuttle, then I read a book. Otherwise, I may respond to texts or something, but I tend to talk to the driver and pay attention to the outside, because plenty of Uber/Lyft drivers do not drive well/safely.
