2 contracts with one client

Hi Upwork,

I just wanna ask about the contracts. I have a client and I have an ongoing contract with him. Recently, he wanted me to hire for a separate job but I don't know how to create another separate contract with him.

I saw in the option that you can create a direct contract and also someone suggested to me that I can tell the client to create a job posting and invite me there. Please help me if there's any way I can do this.

Please know that Direct Contracts can be used to working with clients who don’t have an Upwork account. This is not applicable to clients you already have on Upwork. Please check this help article for more information. You may discuss with your client about a separate contract using either a Fixed-Price or Hourly contract if this is a different project than what you are currently working on. You can share this help article with your client for more information.
