A Drastic Decrease in JSS

Hi,

Can anyone give me info on why I dropped from being a Rising Talent to a 69% JSS, although I have 5-star reviews.

Can only 1 cancelled contract drop my JSS that drastically? Do completed projects without feedback affect JSS?

I've been trying to contact support, to no avail.

Hi Tobi,

It looks like you've only started recently on Upwork. If you have not completed a job in the past months, it might mean that there are not enough jobs in your 12- or 24-month window to calculate a 12- or 24-month Job Sucess Score from, so it has to calculate your JSS from your 6-month windows. Also, contracts fall out of your calculation windows.

Also, factors such as private and public feedback, the dollar weight of the projects you've completed, and the long-term relationships with your clients can have an impact on your overall score. You may want to check this help article to learn more.

Stars are largely irrelevant, it's the private feedback that counts.

You only have 3 contracts with feedback, so every outcome counts very heavily.
