Bidding Connects, who gets them

When you bid for a job with connects who gets the connects ? The Client, Upwork or do they just vaporise ?

Upwork. Money but not connects. Connects is nothing realy, you cannot sold or exchange that.

The connects just vaporise. It's like a ticket for a theater - once the ticket is cut off by the door guard it is forever lost. The only way to get back these connects is when the client closes the job without hiring anyone.
