Can I include my website in proposals? Or is it against the rules?
Example: "Hi, I can do the job for you. You can check my portfolio on my website **Edited for Community Guidelines**

This is incorrect. You can direct potential clients to portfolio samples on your website. Just make sure your communication remains in Upwork if there is not contract in place. This is against Upwork policy. You cannot include any contact details in the proposal. Instead you can create your portfolio on upwork itself. Client will also be able to search you effectively.

I read this link before. However it seems upwork is contradicting its guidelines mentioned above with FAQ for portfolio which mentions that it can include the contact information. This become a question what is correct? I believe @Upwork you need to clarify on this point.
