Can't change Profile URL

Hi

I need to change my Profile URL. I want to customize it under my name.

But profile URL seems locked and I am unable to see a pancil next to Profile URL on Profile Page. 

Can someone guide how I can customize my profile URL

Hi Muhammad,

The option to customize the profile URL is available to freelancers under the Freelancer Plus plan. If you are looking to upgrade your membership,  you may customize your profile URL by following the steps below:

1. Go to Find Work > Profile
2. Edit button (pencil icon) next to Profile Link in the right-hand column
3. Customize your URL and click 'Save'

Hi Kamrul,

At the moment, this option is available only to freelancers on our Plus plan. Freelancers who are on our Basic plan will not be able to add a customized URL. Thank you.

Yes, that is correct. You won't be able to use the perks after the Freelancer Plus membership ends.

What will happen if somebody will click on this link after Plus plan expires?

Actually, it will still redirect to the non plus account with the long id. (Unless someone else uses that username)

I had the plus plan sometime last year and the URL is still working.

Hi Karol and others,

Currently by design, if talent switches back to Basic Membership, their custom URL will still redirect to the profile.*
