Charged twice for connects

I was charged twice for the connects I purchased. Can you refund the extra charge or atleast give the correct numbers of connects? I have the purchase history from my bank. Thanks

Hi Jenny,

 

I checked this for you and you were charged only once for the recent Connects purchase. This you can check under your Transaction history. Could you please check this with the bank and clarify the transaction you're concerned about? Feel free to reach back to us if there is anything else we can assist you with.

Hi,

Thank you for the response.

As per checking on the transaction history in Upwork it's showing two
transaction with different receipt number.

The transaction history shows two receipt number and would like to know if they are different or just the same. Please enlighten me. Appreciate the help.

Hi Jenny,

 

It is per design to show two rows in your Transaction history for one payment. That's because each step of the payment is recorded:

  • Funds are deposited into your account from a billing method
  • Funds move out of your account to cover the payment
