Hello
I have been working for over an year with this client, he only needed me like once at month, but everything went great until the latest task (he tells me he has many more for me, but I have to wait for the payment). The last payment had to be initially $35, but he asked me if I can sort some photos too (around 1100 photos), so we agreed to $50. I didn't ask for more money because he was an old and reliable client.
This task was in September, last year, and that he can only pay me on 3rd of October. I was okay with that, but he kept telling me things like this so much that I feel disgraced to ask him how are the things going. I've also attached an image which shows the details about the milestones of this project.
The job is called: "Create Tiff and Watermark File"
I wonder what can be done in situations like this one? I want you to tell me as if it happens again with more money, I will know how I should proceed.
Sorry for grammatical mistakes, if any.
Thank you for taking the time to read this,
Alina.
edit: He also has payment verified and my profile is public, so you can check the job.

Alina, on a fixed price job nothing can be done unless there was a funded milestone. The client can still decide to pay you voluntarily, but there is no means of enforcing your agreement if the funds aren't in escrow.
