Client lied in their review of me

Hi there,

I'm not sure if anyone has experienced this, but someone has recently left a poor review on my profile even though they were receptive to my work. They hired me to edit a paper for them and give my professional opinion about it, and after doing so, they ghosted me, canceled the contract soon after, and left a negative review. Is there anything I can do about this?

No. Feedbacks removing only with ToS violation. Lie isnt a violation. It is your forever. Accept it as-is and move forward.

You can remove it with your Toprated perk if you want.

Would removing it with the top-rated perk remove all of my feedback? Or would it just remove the negative feedback? Also, how is lying not a ToS violation? What is the point of ToS if people can just lie about whatever they want?

Not all. Only one. You will specificy contract where you want to remove feedback.

Have no idea, but as is. Upwork dont care about that. Yep, peoples can just lie about whatever they want.
