Have Not Gotten Any Offer

Good day, my fellow Freelancers.

I have been on this platform upto a week now and I have spend my Bonus Connects and also bought extra 60 Connects and have now purchased a monthly membership. I have submitted 35 proposals but no reply to my Proposals and I have not received any offer yet.

Please can someone tell me why is this way?
Have you experienced that before?
Is it's because am from Nigeria?

Please this feeling is awful. And it wires me...

The problem is that getting started on Upwork is extremely difficult, and unless you are unusually lucky, it usually takes much more than a week to land a first job. Before spending more money on connects, think hard about how to stand out from the crowd of people trying just like you to get a first job. Use the articles on Upwork and the forum to learn more about the platfom, see what you can do to better your profile... You should learn to only send proposals for jobs that really interest you. When connects used to be free, you had enough of them to send one proposal a day, this gives you an idea of how rarely you should make a proposal.
