Hourly paying client ended the contract before I entered my hours, stole the work and blocked me

The title says pretty much it. A client asked for work, hourly payment, I agreed, we started the contract, no communication outside of upwork happened. They invited to me a github repo, I cloned and worked for it. I solved their problem, and as soon as they learnt that the difficult part has been solved, they ended the contract and blocked me before I entered my hours for the day. 

What can I do? This is an obvious scam. This person cannot continue using Upwork.

Client able to do it within rules. Thats all. Leave true feedback and take lesson.

Why you didn't use time tracker?

I use arch linux as OS, tracker does not work on it I suppose. That is incredibly bad. They should be banned.

Got it. Try to use tracker. Manual time unprotected anyway. This works only with honest client.

Upwork won't take any action for this cheater because he did no violations.
