How to get mentorship

How do I get a top-rated talent in my field to be a mentor and guide me? There's no way to message them and create a relationship and I feel it's impossible to go ahead without mentorship

There is no mentorship program here on Upwork.

It is admirable to be open to mentoring, but most top-rated freelancers who specialize in quantitative trading and investing will not take you in and guide you. Even outside of Upwork, it is difficult to find willing and dedicated mentors.

There is no Finance or Investing community group here on Upwork, but maybe you can suggest a new group? Upwork will likely not start a new group if there isn't much demand, but you never know until you ask.
