Today I received an invite for a job with 3753 other freelancers being interviewed.

I wonder how much money has this client spent to send so many invitations.
I suppose clients have to spend connects to send more than 50 invitations - like the freelancers spend connects to apply for a job. Otherwise it seems like one big (free !!!) SPAM activity.

Clients don't have to spend anything to send out as many invites as they want, and yes, Upwork ALLOWS clients to simply indiscriminantly SPAM large quantities of people by not setting reasonable limits on the number of invites that can be sent out for a single job post. I agree, if a client needs to invite more than 50 people to a job, then they should be REQUIRED to purchase an Upwork Enterprise Account and work with a Talent Specialist or professional Upwork Recruiter to help fill their role if they need to do any type of 'mass hiring' like this.

There are have been similar posts in the Forums about jobs requesting the use of that writing tool. Most of those jobs also "interviewed" 1000+ freelancers. The job in question was created in February, and I'm sure others here have posted about it.
Clients do not have to pay for Connects to send Invites, and I agree with CJ--Upwork should impose a limit or work directly with Upwork if they need to conduct a mass hiring event. There are legitimate companies that conduct surveys and wish to include (and pay) 1000+ participants, but there is a way to do it, and I don't think this is it.

User has found a way to promote their service as a "required subscription" in order to be considered for a job that will always have 0% Hiring Rate.

I bet that it is a recurring job that the Client reposts whenever they need work, which is why there aren't any hires showing. Does the Client's history have a lot of jobs with the job title?

Exactly. That "client" advertising for the "articly.ai" website as a requirement for a potential job that he's never awarding. It's a malicious form of new age marketing. Disgusting. Upwork should immediately investigate accounts advertising jobs for this website.

When a client invites you so send in a proposal, do you have to spend any connects? I am asking because I can't remember if that happens or not.
