Hello Upwork community,
A few days ago I had my first contract of $50 on Upwork and I receive only $22.83.
Why this is happening?
20% (Upwork fees) is 10 dollars + VAT $1.90 = $11.90
So I should receive $50 - $11.90 = $38.10
Did I miss something (more taxes)?
P.S.: The contract has only one milestone of $50. The contract is not over, but the client accepted my delivery!

Hi Paul,
Your calculation is correct and you were paid for the exact amount. But you`ve also purchased additional connects with your Upwork balance and that is the reason why you`ve received less funds.
To view, more details go to Reports > Transaction History. Thank you.

This makes sense now. I thought that the money from connects will be charged from my card but that's ok. Thank you for your support!

Did the client release less than the full amount? Was the milestone funded with $ 50? Are there still funds in Escrow?
Sounds like the client only paid $ 30 ( 30 - 6 - 1.14 = 22.86)
