It doesn't look like you need to verify your account yet. Please know that verification cannot be requested, but is slowly being rolled out to users of Upwork. If the team finds the need to verify your account, you will be notified through an email, or through a notification in your account with more information on how you can complete the verification process.

Hi Joanne - any word on the verification of my documents? I have one more day to complete the verification and there is obviously an issue on Upwork's side based on other comments.  How can we either approve my document as soon as possible or extend the time since it is not my fault? Hi I've tried a lot to get my ID's verified but UpWork always showing failed.

I've tried with

1. Drivers Licence - issued by Govt of India

2. Voters Identity Card - issued by Govt of India

All images are crisp clear and with proper borders.

I don't want to play with any more of my secure documents by uploading to UpWork.

Although all informations are available on documents, crisp, clear and with borders under white background without a single edit why UpWork is failing to verify the above documents?

Can any UpWork associate please help me get this resolved?

Hi,

I am having a hard time verifying my ID and Selfie on Upwork. I recently joined Upwork and got my first project. Shortly aftwards a message was shown on top :

Action required: Verify your identity by 01/26/2022 UTC to continue winning jobs on Upwork.

I uploaded my CNIC - the process tells me it can take upto 1 minute and then it fails. I tried multiple times but it fails. The message is now showing that verfication can take upto 1 business day. 

However its past 1 day and its still showing the message and not approved.

Can you kindly look into this and resolve it at your earliest?

during submission, I entered a wrong Birthday and I didn't know that till I try to get ID verification, and then they told me the date of birth you entered during the submission doesn't match with the date in your ID 

and I can't resubmit a new ID now or submit a request to get help and I'm stuck now.
