Hi Get,
If you are eligible or required to receive an “Identity Verified” badge, you can complete the two stages by going to Identity Verification in your Settings.
You may be asked to complete a visual verification and provide a valid government-issued ID. Acceptable documents include passport, national ID card (NIC/CNIC), driver's license, NBI Clearance (Philippines only), tax ID, voter ID, postal ID, or any other valid government-issued photo ID that meets these criteria.
Note that we occasionally ask users to re-verify because periodic checks ensure their accounts continue to reflect accurate information. Our goal is to make this process as seamless as possible and we thank you for your contribution to keeping Upwork a professional and safe community.
If you don't see a way to verify, that may be because you're not eligible yet. Please know that verification cannot be requested, but is slowly being rolled out to all talent. If the team finds the need to verify your account, you will be notified through an email, or through a notification in your account.

There You cannot verify your account untill Upwork send you a notification asking to verify it.
To receive that notification, you must complete one job.

I've uploaded my driver's license to verify my identity and it worked. There's a small problem, though, my middle name is written incorrectly on my driver's license. It's a single letter (o vs a) but I don't like it this way. I want my full name to be displayed 100% correctly in certificates of earnings and other documents.
Is there any way I can reset my identity verification and upload another ID?

Hi everybody, a couple of days laters Upwork asked me to verify my identity. I have provided my national identity card and a selfie of mine.
Although more than 1 business day has passed, Upwork still asks me to verify my identity and shows me that they are verifying my identity.
I don't much time left, only two-three days, and if my identity is not verified within this timeframe. They will keep my account on hold and I will lose potential clients.
What can I do?

You can always update your profile picture. To do so, please go to your profile, hover over your profile picture and click on the pencil icon to open a popup window and make further changes. Please note that generally, a freelancer can be requested to verify information on their profile after making changes to it.

I just checked and the updated profile picture is showing on your profile. It was probably a caching thing.
Regarding your verification, I checked with the team and as you already finished both steps, please allow up to 48 hours for the team to review your account and notify you if further steps are required from your end.
