ID Badge Verification

Hi guys I have changed sucesfully verfied my ID but have failed selfie verification lol, my selfie has a beard, my profile pic doesnt lol can anyone help me out pleaseeee

Hi Get,

 

If you are eligible or required to receive an “Identity Verified” badge, you can complete the two stages by going to Identity Verification in your Settings.

 

You may be asked to complete a visual verification and provide a valid government-issued ID. Acceptable documents include passport, national ID card (NIC/CNIC), driver's license, NBI Clearance (Philippines only), tax ID, voter ID, postal ID, or any other valid government-issued photo ID that meets these criteria.

 

Note that we occasionally ask users to re-verify because periodic checks ensure their accounts continue to reflect accurate information. Our goal is to make this process as seamless as possible and we thank you for your contribution to keeping Upwork a professional and safe community.



If you don't see a way to verify, that may be because you're not eligible yet. Please know that verification cannot be requested, but is slowly being rolled out to all talent. If the team finds the need to verify your account, you will be notified through an email, or through a notification in your account.

Hi Danishka,

 

I checked with the team and it looks like they were able to resolve the issue. You should be able to see your ID badge on your profile now!

I submitted my request to ID verification few days ago and it should take only 1 business day but It's not yet approved nor any reply from Upwork team so please advise me what should i do?

Hello everyone,

I met some problem with identity verification, I can't proceed to upload image step,

when I click at "Get started" it's looping forever

I notice that there is some error log related to websocket connection in console that we can see in my image

Can someone help me ?

I tried but was not able to replicate this issue on my end. Could you please try clearing your cache and cookies or logging in with a different browser to see if the issue persists?

I have tried multiple times uploading my passport, but the identification verification doesn't complete. Now I am getting this message of contact customer support.

My account is already verified but every time I try to apply for a job, I’m told to verify my account again. Also, the verification button that keeps showing up on the app doesn’t work. I’ve been unable to apply for jobs because of this even though I already have the verification badge on my account and I've had this account for over a year.
