Job applying routines and methods

Hi there,

I'm still in college but I plan on freelancing even when I get back to school. What do you think is a great routine for going through your job feed and saving jobs to apply later? Also I'd like to know what your favourite approach to applying to jobs is in terms of quantity vs quality. Do you apply to a certain minimum per day or do yo only apply when a job meets certain criteria.

I'd appreciate as much detail as possible!

I personally save jobs that I know I can do very well and then apply to them later in the day. My applications aren't long, they aim to show a superior understanding of what they want and/or their situation and why my experience is right for this job.

I then move on to show samples and prompt to discuss things further.

Happy brainstorming and sharing!

Hi Bryan,

I will not be able to share any specific tip on routines and methods when applying for jobs on the platform. But I'd just like to share the freelancer resources we compiled to help you get started on the platform.

Please also check these tips for avoiding questionable jobs, for more information about working safely through Upwork.
